Added a suitable error message to display when we don't recognise you from your Shibboleth login, and merged the code into the main trunk. Once this is live I can start some more realistic tests with public ID providers before addressing the where-are-you-from side of things.

Switching to a different kind of institutional feature this afternoon - library cards, here we come.
