Basic tomcat installation succeeded on orac - it's serving the test applications fine. Bonza!

I'm reading the tomcat book in parallel and will make notes here of things to look at in the future.

Number 1: We could use the JNDIRealm authentication plug-in to authenticate office users against our master LDAP server. This means that the admin system, content systems etc wouldn't need to track their own login credentials and we could centralize the administration.
